“TELUS Day of Service gives you an introduction to a charity and its programs, so it’s as much a learning opportunity as a chance to give to your community. It was a great to see how Sketch creates a safe art space for Toronto’s youth. As soon as you walk in, you can see the impact that this place has had on local artists – art is all over the walls, in every room. It’s a very cool concept.”

“The TELUS volunteer gang came in to lend us a hand on a Saturday when it was 30 degrees and humid inside our studio,” said Dale Roy, Marketing & Communications Associate with Sketch, an art studio for street-involved youth. “With fans blowing and music blasting, the group cleaned and organized our kitchen space with pep and great humour. They were keen on doing a great job and the result was a super-organized kitchen where our staff prepares daily lunches for our young artists. The TELUS gang then offered their professional advice by participating in a focus group that resulted in amazing feedback for our fundraising campaigns.”
“Sketch thanks TELUS for their elbow grease and community involvement!”
